OLYMPIC STANDARD CURLING STONES HAND CRAFTED FROM ONE OF THE DENSEST GRANITES EVER DISCOVERED
Kays Curling, maker of the curling stones used at Milano Cortino 2026 has an exciting announcement.
Together with World Curling, we are offering sports fans worldwide the opportunity to buy an authentic piece of Olympic history.
The curling stones used at Milano Cortina 2026 (there were only 128) will be returned to us in Scotland after the conclusion of the Paralympic Winter Games in March 2026. These full-size Olympic stones will be transformed into a limited edition of 2026 Official Olympic Licensed Product mini curling stones and offered for sale on a first come first served basis. The offer will open after the Closing Ceremony of the Milano Cortina 2026 Olympic Winter Games on Sunday.
Each of the 2026 mini curling stones will be sold set on a replica hack with the Official Milano Cortina 2026 logo together with a hand signed certificate of authenticity to link it to the stones used at Milano Cortina 2026.
Kays will also offer each of the 2026 mini stones as part of a Curling Granite Gift Pack which in addition to the mini stone contains 2 engraved granite coasters and 4 granite ice cubes (the coasters and cubes are not made from Olympic curling stones but they are made from granite from the same source, the remote Scottish island, Ailsa Craig, off the west coast of Scotland).
The delivery schedule for this limited edition will be as follows. All our giftware is hand finished, so when the stones are returned to us in April 2026 it will take time to make the mini stones. We will ship orders on a first in first out basis. We expect to start shipping orders in May 2026 and all orders to be shipped by the end of July 2026. We will of course keep you updated and send photos and post social media of the manufacturing process as your order moves along.
